Business overview

IFWC is a wellness and human performance consulting firm delivering non-pharmacological, evidence-informed programs focused on operational resilience, stress management, and workforce sustainability.

Our approach integrates nervous system regulation education, non-diagnostic biometric indicators, and performance strategies to address factors that may contribute to fatigue, stress, and reduced performance in complex environments.

Designed to support government agencies, municipalities, and prime contractors, our services are structured as small-scope pilot programs, with options to scale based on pilot findings reviewed with the client.

Each pilot is scoped with the client in writing, with a timeline and metrics agreed before it starts and findings reported at the end of the engagement.

This page is an informational description of our capabilities. It is not an offer, bid, quote, or contract. Any engagement will be governed exclusively by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

Example pilot program (4 to 8 weeks)

Illustrative example only. Scope, schedule and metrics are agreed in writing before any work begins.

Participants

A team of 5 to 40 people in a high-pressure function, such as 911 dispatchers, municipal staff or administrative first-responder personnel.

Format

  1. Phase 1, week 1: Kickoff and baseline

Baseline measurement with a non-diagnostic wellness device (for example, heart rate variability) and a short questionnaire. The baseline measurement is part of the program: it is used to define each participant's session plan. Voluntary enrollment.

  2. Phase 2, middle weeks: Wellness device sessions

Sessions of 30 to 60 minutes with non-invasive devices, designed to support nervous system balance and general well-being, scheduled around shifts.

  3. Phase 3, ongoing: Everyday practices

Brief breathing practices and short guided audio exercises of 2 to 5 minutes that participants can use during the workday, alongside the continuing device sessions.

  4. Phase 4, final week: Close-out

Optional follow-up measurement with the same device, a final questionnaire and a review meeting of aggregated results, with groups of at least 5 people.

What you receive

An aggregated, de-identified final report limited to the metrics agreed in advance: aggregated before and after indicators (descriptive only, not a clinical outcome), participant-reported stress, sleep and engagement (by questionnaire), plus attendance and participation rates. Individual responses and measurements are never shared with the employer. Results are reported only for groups of 5 or more respondents; smaller groups are combined or not reported.

What we need from you

A designated point of contact, a room or meeting slot during work hours, and help sharing the enrollment invitation with eligible staff. Enrollment is handled directly with participants.

What this pilot is not

  • Not medical care. Sessions use non-invasive wellness devices for relaxation and general well-being. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and no measurement is a diagnosis.
  • Not mandatory. Participation is voluntary; the baseline measurement is part of the program, and anyone who does not want to be measured may choose not to enroll. Anyone can stop at any time with no consequence at work.
  • Not a replacement for your Employee Assistance Program (EAP), mental health care or medical care. Anyone who needs support is referred to those services.
  • Not individual data for the employer. The organization receives only aggregated results from groups of at least 5 people. Individual results stay private with each participant.
  • Not for everyone. Every participant completes a safety screening before the first session. Anyone with a contraindication (for example, pregnancy, a pacemaker or other implanted device, or light sensitivity) will not use that device.

Sessions can be delivered in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

After the pilot, findings are reviewed with the client, and any extension or expansion is scoped based on that joint review and subject to the client's procurement requirements.
